Brittany is a historian, author, and educator with a Master’s degree in African American Studies. She is the author of “Figures in Black History” and the founder of Black History Rocks, a platform dedicated to celebrating the fullness of Black history.

Black History Rocks exists to help families and learners connect with Black history through stories, activities, and real historical places. We believe that understanding the past is essential to shaping a more just and equitable future — and that Black history belongs to everyone.
